As predicted, the sale of mobile devices, mobile phones, tablets or readers and even web watches, is booming and growing while traditional PCs are becoming the “thing” for the office and generally speaking work.
For some time now I have been drawing attention to the use of mobile devices and their ever increasing market share when it comes to web browsing and business to be had from it. While having a professional website is a must for any solid marketing strategy, mobile websites have become the latest necessity to capture also the mobile device users’ market.
Mobile devices are used for almost everything these days: buying online, reading news, checking emails and social networking sites, small group presentations etc. However, mobile websites are very different from traditional websites and have to be designed and programmed purely with mobile devices in mind. Poorly designed and developed mobile websites can actually be counterproductive in terms of business.
Just how many customers are you missing out on by NOT having a mobile version of your website? Something to consider in your next year’s marketing budget, I guess.
