I am so convinced this is an urgent and REAL problem coming very quickly that I have posted it again.
Apologies to those who have already seen it.
Please share it with others. It’s going to cause a load of problems for unsecured websites.
Google Chrome (the website browser software) will mark HTTP sites as “Not Secure” from October 2017.
It’s official, you now need an SSL installed.
It doesn’t matter if your website is non transactional, it will get a black mark.
Your website visitors will be advised that your website is not safe to visit.
THIS IS A BAD THING…
This is any website.
Do you really want a visitor to be put off ?
If you are unsure how to secure your website, contact your website provider, or contact us and we will explain how to secure it.
It will involve the purchase of an SSL (Security Socket Layer). The installation and configuration of the code and this is a technical job, so I would avoid trying to do this yourself.
If you do anything to your website this year – please do this!
Don’t forget, any questions, give us a call on 01746 768612.
