With more than 500 employees, including 130 fully employed Independent Financial Advisers serving 18,000 core clients and in excess of £8bn funds under management, it’s one of the fastest growing privately-owned IFA firms in the UK.

The challenge

Ascot Lloyd approached Clickingmad with a clear, strong, simple brief and that was it wanted to completely refresh its website to help it appeal to an expansive audience of both individuals and businesses.

It wanted its digital assets to mirror its strong customer relations and showcase its strength in the market when it comes to providing lifetime financial planning and not just wealth management.

It wanted a website which would help them capitalise on new business opportunities by providing them with a key platform for new client development and enquiry.

And it wanted to create a strong brand presence through its website to support future IFA acquisitions, business partnerships and attract new talent.

In essence, the new website needed to tell a compelling story.

How the Clickingmad team helped

This project involved a whole team effort and was led by managing director Shaun Carvill who worked closely with Ascot Lloyd’s marketing team and company directors to fulfil the brief and achieve the new-look website.

The project involved an initial deep audit of the company’s existing web platform, competitor analysis and extensive consultation including one-to-one stakeholder interviews. Key services deployed included web design and build, Search Engine Optimisation, Google Ads and web hosting.

Moving forward the Clickingmad team will continue to provide SEO services, Google Ads management and web development so that the site stays at the forefront for user experience through digital design and provides a measurable return on investment.
