As part of our 25 in 25 Acts of Kindness campaign, the Clickingmad team recently swapped keyboards for spades to support a wonderful local organisation – Crowsmill Craft Centre near Bridgnorth.

To mark 25 years of business, we’ve committed to delivering 25 acts of kindness throughout 2025. That includes giving away £75,000 worth of digital services to charities, but it also means rolling up our sleeves and giving our time to causes that matter.

Why Crowsmill?

Crowsmill is a hidden gem. It’s a working craft and care farm that provides people with learning difficulties and additional needs a safe and engaging space to learn practical skills — from woodwork to animal care, and from horticulture to conservation.

What makes it special is how grounded it is in community, care, and connection to nature. When the opportunity came up to help with tree planting on their site, we jumped at the chance.

A Hands-On Act of Kindness
Together with the Crowsmill team, we planted a selection of native trees, which will help support biodiversity, improve the landscape, and contribute to a long-term outdoor learning space for service users.

For many of us at Clickingmad, this was a different kind of workday — but it was also one of the most rewarding. Getting our hands in the soil and doing something that will grow, quite literally, for decades to come, was a powerful reminder of the long-term impact small actions can have.

The team really enjoyed this tree planting as part of our 25 in 25 journey — and one that left a lasting impression on us all.
