Just because we list them won’t mean that we can suddenly appear at the top of search rankings, unfortunately. Google uses a multitude of factors to rank a website, most of these are very technical in nature so make sure your agency is technically skilled to make your website search engine friendly.

Note the use of "Shropshire" in the above list - Google's algorithms are heavily focussed on testing websites through a mobile phone environment. Obviously mobile phones know 'where they are' geographically and as Google always tries to give a product or service provider that is physically closer to you it uses your GPS location or IP address (if you are using a computer).
